LEADERSHIP

Jack Seifrick
Chairman, Professional Capital, Inc.

Jack is Chairman of the Professional Bank holding company, Professional Capital, Inc. He focuses on establishing overall strategies for growth, which includes business development, employee recruiting, new market launches and delivering quality service.  

Previously, Jack worked in commercial real estate where he helped build and run The Amend Group, a nationwide provider of real estate services to client corporations. Prior to that, Jack helped grow a seafood processing company. He began his career as a CPA with a national accounting firm.

Jack earned a B.S.B.A. in Accounting from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He has been married for 20 years. He and his wife Ann have two daughters and live in Lakewood.


Mark Shank
Chairman, Professional Bank

Mark Shank A Partner with global law firm K & L Gates, LLP, Mark is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law and Labor Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Certified Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. A former President of the Dallas Bar Association, Mark has been recognized numerous times as one of the best lawyers in the city, state and country by various publications. He serves on the board of the Dallas Bar Foundation and is Chair-elect of the Texas Bar Foundation. He recently won the Judge Sam Williams Award as the outstanding local bar association leader in Texas. 

Mark is very excited about serving as Chairman in 2008 and hopes to build on the efforts in the past while implementing some new ideas of his own.

Since moving to the Lakewood area in 1980, Mark has served on the boards of the Northeast Dallas Chamber and Habitat for Humanity. He lives in Lakewood with his wife Lu Ann and three children ranging in age from 10 to 17.

Mark holds a bachelor’s of science from Missouri State University, a law degree from Missouri University and a master’s of law from SMU.


James Miller
Chief Executive Officer

James MillerJames joined Professional Bank in 2005 as Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, James was President and CEO of Security Bank, a community bank based in Garland with locations in Dallas, Collin and Hunt counties. Under his leadership Security Bank enjoyed significant growth and profitability and was ultimately acquired by Citibank.

Raised in Garland, James has helped North Texas communities throughout his 25-year banking career. James has served in a variety of charitable and business-related groups such as the Garland Chamber of Commerce, Noon Exchange Club of Garland, New Beginning Center, Baylor Medical Center of Garland Board of Directors, Salvation Army, YMCA and the Garland Economic Development Council.

James has a Finance degree from Texas Tech University and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He lives in Garland with his wife. They have three grown children and one granddaughter. 


Paul Kunde
Chief Financial Officer

Paul KundePaul joined Professional Bank in 2008 and serves as Chief Financial Officer.  Most recently with a community bank in Coppell, he has more than 35 years of operational and financial experience in Dallas area banks.  He continues to apply that experience at Professional Bank.

Paul lives in the Lake Highlands area with his wife and two college-age children.




Mark Smith
President

Mark SmithMark serves as President and Chief Lending Officer of Professional Bank, as well as a member of the Board of Directors. Formerly Branch President for the Inwood National Bank DeSoto branch, Mark has served North Texas communities with more than 21 years of banking experience. Of that, he’s spent more than 14 years helping local business as a commercial and real estate lender. Mark continues that banking expertise and community service today at Professional Bank.

Mark is on the board of directors of the Dallas Northeast Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the East Dallas Exchange Club. He and his wife Suzanne have two college-age children and live in the White Rock Lake area.


Chris Williams
Vice President – Garland

Chris Williams Working from Professional Bank Garland, Chris brings solid expertise and community-focused spirit to Garland banking. With more than eight years of commercial lending and relationship-banking experience, Chris has served North Texans in his previous positions at Garland’s Security Bank, First American Bank and Citibank.

Chris earned a B.B.A. in Finance in 2000 from Texas Tech University and currently lives in Richardson.  Formerly, a golf club professional, Chris is committed to building lifelong banking relationships in Garland and the surrounding communities. 

A graduate of Leadership Richardson, class of 2005, Chris is actively involved in the Garland Chamber of Commerce. 


Gabriel Sherman
Vice President – Park Cities

Gabriel Sherman

Gabriel has extensive experience as a Dallas-based banker and financial advisor over the last ten years.  His clients benefit from Gabriel's excellent communication and cross-cultural experience delivered with the highest level of client focused service.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance.  Gabriel lives in Plano with his wife, Robin, and their two sons.





David Chapman
Banking Officer

David Chapman Native Texan and long-time local resident, David Chapman joined Professional Bank in 2007 to assist in the bank’s commercial lending and relationship banking efforts. Now in his tenth year of banking and financial services, David provides old-fashioned, personalized attention to successful business owners, which is a perfect fit for Professional Bank’s vision and values.

A music lover, David also spent six years playing saxophone with the 531st Air Force National Guard Band. David lives in Mesquite with his wife and son where he is active in his local church, especially in youth ministry activities.


Darlene Ellison
Community/Business Development Officer

Darlene EllisonDarlene Ellison joined the Professional Bank team in 2006 as Business Development Officer. As part of her role, she has created and implemented several initiatives, including the very successful Women in Business programs in Lakewood and Park Cities. 

Formerly, Darlene served as a development consultant for several nonprofit organizations, with a focus on strategic planning and fundraising.

Born and raised in Lakewood, Darlene received her BBA from Southern Methodist University, as well as a master’s degree in psychology. Darlene has served on several local boards and is a sought-out professional speaker for professional groups and charities. She and her husband Scott live in Lakewood with their two children.


Jeff White
Assistant Vice President – Park Cities

jeff whiteJeff White has a solid reputation serving the banking needs of Metroplex-based businesses and professionals. Having a history in community banking, Jeff understands the value of a partnership with a bank that is focused on tailoring solutions for the success of each individual’s needs and goals. Jeff has experience closing complex transactions in various areas of commercial, professional, and real estate lending, and enjoys continuing to build on relationships he has developed over the years.

Jeff received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and resides in Addison, TX.  As a graduate of the Addison Citizen’s Academy and an active Rotarian, Jeff takes pride in serving his community through numerous not-for-profit and civic organizations.


James Veirs
Vice Chairman

James VeirsJim has more than 30 years of banking experience, primarily in the Dallas area, and serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board. Jim is the former President, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Texas Central Bank in Dallas, a $115 million depository institution with three locations, until its 1999 merger with Bank United. He was also Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Banc Texas Quorum from 1984 to 1985.  Previously, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Texoma National Bank in Sherman, Texas.

Jim and his wife Barbara have four grown children and currently live in Angel Fire, New Mexico.


Gus Pellizzi
Director

Gus PellizziGus currently serves as an outside director of Professional Bank. Gus has been a Partner of Fox River Financial Resources, based in Geneva, Illinois, since 1995.  Fox River is a private investment group engaged primarily in trading, commercial real estate investments and venture activities.

In 2005, Gus reduced his responsibilities at Fox River to assume the position of Managing Partner and Principal of Perks and Provisions Company in Dallas, as well as to manage his personal investment activities. Perks and Provisisons provides a complete line of coffee services and vending and break room solutions for area businesses. 

Gus is active in education initiatives through his board involvement with HOSTS (Help One Student to Succeed), a national organization for at-risk kids. Gus and his wife Karen live near White Rock Lake with their two school-age children.


Stan Fredrick
Director

Stan FredrickA Professional Bank co-founder, Stan currently serves as an outside director of the bank. Stan is a noted expert in the direct selling industry, owns Frederick Consulting Services and serves as a director for Mannatech, Inc. Previously, he co-founded Cameo Couture, Inc. and Irving National Bank Shares. Stan has received the Direct Selling Association’s highest honor, the “Hall of Fame Award” and holds a place in the Direct Selling Education Foundation “Circle of Honor.”

Stan holds a B.A. degree in English from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He is a father of five, a grandfather of ten and a longstanding member of Dallas Symphony Orchestra Patrons.



Scott Susens
Director

Scott SusensScott has more than 20 years of development and management experience in the technology arena and serves as chairman of Professional Bank’s technology committee. Currently, Scott is the Director of Client Services at Yahoo!, where he oversees software development projects in the Dallas office.

Previously, Scott worked with MicroSolutions, CompuCom and Broadcast.com. Scott earned a bachelor’s in Finance from Indiana University and lives in the Park Cities with his wife and two children.


Zach Wooldridge
Director

Zach WooldridgeZach serves as an outside director of Professional Bank. He recently founded Elm Creek Partners, an investment fund that makes growth capital and buyout investments in small businesses with less than $100 million in revenues. Additionally, he serves as a director of Legends Optical Laboratories in Lewisville.

Previously, Zach was an Associate of Red River Ventures, a Dallas-based private equity fund investing in privately-held growth companies, mainly in Texas and the Southwest. Prior to his career in private equity, Zach worked in New York City as a manager of trading systems product development for a foreign bank. 

Zach received a B.S. in Accounting from Washington & Lee University and an M.B.A. from SMU.  He is a founding member of The Children’s Trust, an advocacy group for the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, a member of the Steering Committee for the DFW Private Equity Forum and the Tournament Director for an annual charity golf tournament benefiting the Kramp Encouragement Foundation. 

Zach lives in Dallas with his wife and two young children.
